You can pause projects and single action lists indefinitely by giving them a status of “On Hold.” The implication is that you’re not able to move forward towards an outcome due to external limiting factors or have chosen to pause a defined outcome or area of life in favour of giving your time and attention to other things.
This perspective is similar to Projects: Inactive. The key difference is this perspective doesn’t include projects that have been deferred to the future. Deferring a project or single action list essentially puts it on hold until a pre-determined future date, whereas placing a project or single action on hold relies on it being taken off hold manually or through automation.
