Fine Tuning OmniFocus?
Is OmniFocus serving you well overall and helping guide your life and work? We’ll help you take your setup and practice to the next level.
We see productivity as an art. Like any art, it needs to be practiced and can be continually improved throughout your life. Practically speaking, these improvements consist of enhancements to the organizational structure of your productivity system and the developing and honing of habits that allow you to put this system to good use in your day-to-day life.
Get OmniFocus Back on the Rails
You may find OmniFocus gets unwieldy after you use it for a while. Perhaps some things have crept into your OmniFocus database that don’t belong. Or maybe OmniFocus needs some fine-tuning to make it more welcoming and useful. The in-depth course, Getting Back on Track with OmniFocus 4 invites you to revisit your OmniFocus setup and make any necessary adjustments. Once you’ve taken this course, consider signing up for Get OmniFocus Back on Track. This LIVE, interactive workshop systematically takes you through your OmniFocus setup and provides practical advice for getting OmniFocus back on the rails.
Hone Your Review Practice
One of the keys to having a useful, relevant, and trusted productivity system is to perform regular reviews. These range from short reviews that you perform each day to more in-depth reviews that take place once a year.
Our Mastering Reviews with OmniFocus course (Members) emphasizes the importance of reviews and gives you practical ways to make them an integral part of your life and work. It highlights the importance of identifying and reviewing all parts of your productivity system and shows how complementary productivity apps (e.g., Asana, Trello, Notion) can be used alongside OmniFocus.

Automate OmniFocus
Automation technologies provide powerful ways to add efficiency and accuracy to your OmniFocus setup. However, it can be a bit daunting to get started with all of the options and technologies you have available. We’re here to help you make sense of it all.
Looking at some examples is a good place to start. We have directories with a growing list of examples of how you can automate your OmniFocus workflows using Shortcuts on iPhone and iPad (Free), AppleScript on Mac (Free), and Omni Automation Plug-Ins on Mac, iPhone, and iPad (Free).
Automation is also a topic in our videos, courses, and LIVE sessions. Our Automate OmniFocus page provides you with a summary of articles, videos, and courses (Free and Members) in our Content Library that feature automation.
