Use Evernote to take notes and to capture action items. Then add a tag to the note and TaskClone will automatically create an OmniFocus action for each of your action items.
Evernote can be a convenient place to take notes, whether you’re brainstorming on an upcoming project or recording what was discussed in a meeting. These notes can include checkboxes, or “to-dos”, that represent actions to be taken a result of the brainstorming session or meeting. If you leave them in Evernote they’re liable to be forgotten, but it can be a bit tedious to manually copy and paste these tasks into OmniFocus.
This is where TaskClone comes in. Once configured, simply add a tag to your Evernote note (e.g. “OmniFocus”) and TaskClone will automatically create an OmniFocus action for each to-do item in the note. All of this magic takes place in the cloud, so there isn’t any software to be installed and notes containing to-dos can be created on any platform supported by Evernote (i.e. pretty much anywhere).
