Take a Video Tour of OmniFocus 2.1 Universal

Announcements, Video

Earlier today the Omni Group introduced, OmniFocus 2.1 Universal, a brand new version of the app that runs on both the iPhone and iPad and introduces new features, bug fixes and improvements.

Reviews and Perspectives on the iPhone

Among other things, this new release brings capabilities to the iPhone that were previously only available on the Mac and iPad. Most notably, it’s now possible to perform reviews on an iPhone and, with an upgrade to the Pro edition, creating and modifying custom perspectives is now supported on both the iPhone and iPad. Additionally, the iPhone now supports both context and project-based perspectives; previously it was only possible to make use of context-based perspectives.

Free OmniFocus 2.1 Universal Video

To help you get up to speed, I’ve put together a free video that covers many of the most significant new additions. I chose to record this screencast on an iPhone, but all of the features that are showcased in this video apply to the iPad as well.
