This video walks you through the process of launching OmniFocus 2 for Mac for the first time and covers some basic concepts.

OmniFocus 3 for Mac

Launching OmniFocus 3 for Mac the first time is essentially the same as it was for OmniFocus 2 for Mac. The primary difference is that OmniFocus 3 for Mac comes with new sample projects.

This is a good video to start with if you don’t have any previous experience with OmniFocus on the Mac or want to review some basics concepts. You’ll learn:

  • How to create a new OmniFocus database.
  • About the layout of the main OmniFocus window.
  • How to use some basic features in OmniFocus. We’ll use the “Get Started with OmniFocus” project that comes preinstalled with OmniFocus to help guide this instruction.
