Getting Started with OmniFocus 2 for Mac

This video walks you through launching OmniFocus 2 for Mac for the first time and covers some basic concepts.

This is legacy content created for OmniFocus 2. You’ll find new and updated content in our Content Library.

This is a good video to start with if you have no experience with OmniFocus on the Mac or want to review some basic concepts. You’ll learn:

  • How to create a new OmniFocus database.
  • About the layout of the main OmniFocus window.
  • How to use some basic features in OmniFocus. We’ll use the “Get Started with OmniFocus” project preinstalled with OmniFocus to help guide this instruction.
