Creates a sequential action group with a numbered series of actions.
Some work takes place in numbered steps (e.g., the chapters of a book, the modules of a course). Creating individual actions means manually adding near-identical actions over and over. A repeating action isn’t optimal because the action name doesn’t include the sequence number (e.g., “Read chapter of book” doesn’t include the next chapter to be read).
This shortcut creates a sequential action group with a series of actions (e.g., Read chapter 1, Read chapter 2), using the name, range and any tag you provide.
Using the Shortcut
When you run the shortcut, you’re asked what you want to do, the range of numbers, the name for the action group and optionally a tag. You’ll be taken to the new action group in your OmniFocus Inbox, where you can move it to an existing project or convert it into a project.
