OmniFocus allows you to assign estimated durations to actions, action groups, and projects. Estimating how long an action will take gives it more definition and helps ensure you don’t take on too much work all at once.
This plug-in provides a convenient way to assign and update estimated durations. Presets let you set one from as little as two minutes up to an hour, and additional commands add anywhere from two minutes to an hour to the current estimate.
For maximum efficiency, assign keyboard shortcuts to the commands you use most. For example, you might map ⌥1 to ⌥7 to the seven presets and ⌥= to add five minutes. It works whether you have one or several items selected.
