Autocar is a “complete and await response” plug-in with support for automatic naming and tagging. The plug-in completes one or more actions and creates follow-up waiting actions to remind you that you’re waiting for a response.
For example, if you just called John about going hiking on Saturday, you could use Autocar to mark this action complete and create a follow-up Waiting action in one fell swoop. The note field of the new action includes the date and time the “Call John” action was completed and a link to the completed action.
This plug-in is highly customizable. Hold down the ⌥ Option key when choosing “Complete and Await Response” from the Automation menu, and you’ll be presented with some options, including a few choices for the name of the new action. You can also edit the “Autocar settings.txt file,” which is contained within the plug-in itself, to fine-tune many aspects of this plug-in. See the documentation for more information.
