Focus Labs: Audio Soundscape

July 8, 2026 | 10:00 am 11:00 am PDT

Discover how your audio environment impacts your ability to focus in this LIVE, interactive experiment.

Do you do your best work in complete silence, or do you benefit from a steady background hum, an ambient soundscape, or music while doing focused work? This workshop allows you to experiment and discover what works best for you.

You’ll work on an OmniFocus task across three focused ten-minute blocks, each with a different audio environment: silence, an ambient soundscape, and music.

Between each block, there will be a short pause to reflect on what you noticed. The workshop closes with a group debrief where you can share your observations and what you plan to do differently moving forward.

Preparing for the Workshop

Before joining, visit the Focus Labs: Audio Soundscape page for guidance on preparing, including choosing a suitable task for the workshop.
