This session will be facilitated by Learn OmniFocus Founder\, Tim Stringer. \n\n\nTo allow for maximum interactivity\, registration in this session is limited to 10 participants. When you register you’ll be asked to agree to join with your video camera turn on and to keep what’s shared by other participants confidential. To help protect the privacy of participants\, sessions won’t be recorded. \n \nYou’re welcome to discuss and ask questions about anything related to OmniFocus and complementary third-party apps. You can optionally share your Mac or iOS screen with the group to add a visual element to the discussions. In order to share your iOS screen\, you’ll need to join the virtual meeting from a Mac that’s on the same network as your iOS device. \nIf you register and discover that you’re not able to attend\, please let us know ASAP so that we can make your spot available to another Learn OmniFocus Member.

You’ll learn how to create dynamic project templates that leverage powerful and flexible Siri Shortcut actions (e.g. dictionaries and date calculations).\n \nSession Overview\n\nAttend the live session and learn how to: \n\nCreate more complex\, dynamic project templates\, including those that make use of dictionaries and date calculations.\nUse text actions to combine TaskPaper tasks.\nCreate repeating tasks in TaskPaper.\nCreate OmniFocus tasks by choosing from a list.\nUse TaskPaper tasks stored in Drafts and files (e.g. iCloud or Dropbox)\nTurn an existing project into a template.\nMake use of Siri Shortcuts that are run from within OmniFocus (via Share Sheet).\nMake use of Mac project templates (i.e. those that use Populate Template Placeholders AppleScript) on iOS.\nCreate Siri Shortcuts that integrate OmniFocus with other popular third-party productivity apps.\nAnd more…\n\n\nPrerequisite\nIt’s recommended that you have some experience with Siri Shortcuts before attending this session. DESCRIPTION:Brian Renshaw will be joining us on Learn OmniFocus LIVE to share how he uses OmniFocus 3 to manage his multifaceted life\, that includes being a student\, teacher\, administrator\, husband\, and father. \n\nHe’ll take us on a tour of his OmniFocus setup and workflows\, highlighting how he’s making extensive use of tags and custom perspectives to juggle his many responsibilities. Brian will also share how he uses automation\, including Siri Shortcuts\, for key work-related tasks. \nAbout Brian Renshaw\nBrian Renshaw is a New Testament doctoral student who will be taking comprehensive exams in May 2019. In addition to being a student\, he teaches as an adjunct\, both online and on-campus for the college\, and works full time in the Provost Office. \nHe began using OmniFocus over eight years ago when he was a college student. His use of OmniFocus has changed drastically over the years. Brian has a lot going on.
